Since the publication of the Decree-Law for the ‘New normal’ yesterday, which extends the mandatory use of masks in public places, we have been inundated with questions, queries, and general anger at the government’s decision to implement this new rule, which takes effect from today.
Most of the questions are regarding use of masks, and where now it is necessary, but some are asking when it will finish and should they cancel their holidays booked for later in the year.
The new decree law basically says that use of a mask is mandatory in ALL public places, including places of work, indoors or outdoors, regardless of distancing from other people, until the end of the health pandemic.
