A young woman unexpectedly gave birth yesterday, Saturday, while shopping at CC La Ballena in Las Palmas in Gran Canaria, as reported by the Local Police, who shared the news on their official X account stating that the baby arrived while the mother was making her way through the shopping centre.
Officers from the District Unit and the Mediation and Coexistence Unit (UMEC) quickly arrived to assist the woman, who's details haven't been released, until SUC medical personnel arrived to deal with the birth.
They successfully delivered the baby and took care of the mother before they were both taken to a hospital, in perfect health, for further essential care.
In a heartwarming message on social media, the Local Police described the situation as "beautiful” celebrating the unique and joyful moment that their assistance helped the mother and her newborn.
