A collision between two vehicles on the Camino de San Miguel de Geneto, in La Laguna, Tenerife, left four men injured on Thursday night.
The accident occurred at 9:52pm and was reported by the Emergency Services Coordination Centre (CECOES).
Firefighters were dispatched to the scene, where they carried out a rescue operation to free a driver trapped inside one of the vehicles, while emergency medical teams quickly attended to the injured, including two 25-year-old men.
One suffered a shoulder injury and the other sustained a moderate injury to his arm; both were taken to Clínica San Juan de Dios by ambulance for further treatment.
Additionally, a 40-year-old man was found to be suffering from a concussion and signs of disorientation. He was taken to the HUC Hospital for medical care. A fourth victim, a 43-year-old man, was treated for a moderate back injury and was transferred to Candelaria Hospital.
Officers from the Guardia Civil and Local Police were also present, overseeing the scene and launching an investigation into the cause of the crash.
