Two men in their teens have been injured after they rolled their car in the early hours of this morning in Corralejo, Fuerteventura. The incident occurred when the vehicle, driven by a 19-year-old male, overturned.
The Emergency Services Coordination Centre (CECOES) received an alert informing them that two people required medical assistance following the accident, and dispatched the necessary resources to the location given.
SUC medical personnel assessed the driver, who was suffering from ‘moderate’ injuries and needed to be taken to the Fuerteventura General Hospital by ambulance for further treatment.
The passenger in the car, also a 19-year-old male, suffered similar injuries, and he was also taken to the same hospital.
The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident as no other cars were involved. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
