The incidents caused by the presence of a DANA, an ‘Isolated High Level Depression’, are beginning to be recorded in various parts of the Canary Islands, as areas are being hit by heavy rains and adverse weather conditions, as meteorologists warn that more widespread effects will be felt.
During this afternoon (Sunday), Gran Canaria has been hit with heavy rain, although it is expected that it will also west move to Tenerife in the next few hours.

The Emergency Services have reported that there are currently multiple incidents in the municipalities of Ingenio and Telde due to the weather, and have the residents of these areas to be cautious if driving or going out.
