A video is doing the rounds on social media of a man travelling down the GC-1 motorway in Gran Canaria at speeds of 80 kilometres per hour on an electric scooter.
The video, which was recorded on Thursday night, was captured by the passenger of a car that caught up with the scooter near the El Goro industrial estate, and you can hear him exclaim: "Eighty down the track, brother!”.

Police are looking for the driver of the scooter in the video as he is breaking multiple laws, especially as these scooters are not allowed on motorways in the first place.
