The Canary Islands Police have arrested two people, a man and a woman, for their alleged involvement in a violent altercation that resulted in serious injuries caused by knives, during a mass brawl in the municipality of Pájara, in Fuerteventura.
During the operation, officers also issued five sanctions to people: four for possession of illegal substances and one for disrespect towards authorities.
An investigation has been opened to determine the cause of the incident and how it escalated.
Additional Arrest for Pending Homicide Charges
In a separate action, the police arrested another man in Pájara who was wanted under a judicial warrant issued by the Provincial Court. The warrant called for his immediate imprisonment in connection with an alleged homicide.
After completing the necessary legal procedures, the detained individuals were handed over to judicial authorities for further action.
