Binter has flights to New York and Boston from Gran Canaria starting in July

Canarian airline, Binter, have put flights on sale between the Canary Islands and the United States for the months of July to September, going to either New York or Boston. Flights will include a stopover in Punta Delgada, in the Azores, and are possible thanks to an agreement between Binter and the Portuguese airline Azores Airlines.

The collaboration between the two airlines makes it easy for passengers, who will be able to make the journey with a single ticket, which includes the stopover in Punta Delgada, under a single flight code and with a single check-in.

Between July 1st and September 24th, Binter and Azores Airlines will carry out flights between the Canary Islands and John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Logan International Airport (BOS).

In both cases, the flights will depart from Gran Canaria at 8:30am on Saturday, make a stopover in Punta Delgada where passengers can exit the airport and spend time in the city, and then it will take off at 6:00pm for the states.

In the opposite direction, the departure will be on Fridays at 9:15pm, and from Punta Delgada to the Canary Islands at 10:30am.

In addition, Binter is offering free flights from the other islands for people wanting to go to America, making it possible to travel to or from different islands for the same price.

Direct flights from the Canary Islands to the Azores:
From July 2nd, Binter resumes its direct flight from the Canary Islands to the Azores, which will depart, every Saturday, from Gran Canaria at 8:30am, and will land in Punta Delgada at 9:50am. Return flights leave the Azores at 10:30am and land at 1:40pm.
