The Contentious-Administrative Chamber of the Superior Court of Justice of the Canary Islands (TSJC) has ratified the measure adopted by Agreement of the Governing Council of the Canary Islands, regarding the limitation of the maximum number of people allowed to get together, who do not live together in family and social gatherings, regardless of whether it is public or private, indoors or outdoors.
Specifically, with respect to the alert levels decreed by the Canary Islands Government, they are now as follows:
Up to alert level 1 (El Hierro and La Gomera): a maximum number of 10 people is allowed.
At alert level 2 (Lanzarote and La Palma): a maximum number of 6 people is allowed.
At alert level 3 (Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura): a maximum number of 4 people is allowed.
At alert level 4 (Tenerife) a maximum number of 4 people is allowed.
In the event that the group is made up of cohabitants and non-cohabitants, the maximum number of people established in each of the indicated alert levels is not allowed to be exceeded, so this means the maximum number allowed at tables, inside or outside, at bars and restaurants at Level 3 and 4 is four, unless it is parents with three or more of their own children.
