In a significant move for the region of San Miguel de Abona, the Local Council has granted permits for the development of three new hotels, which include two deluxe 5-star resorts and a 4-star hotel all set to be located in Amarilla Golf and Golf del Sur, in the south of Tenerife.
Amarilla Golf, known for its lush green fairways and breathtaking ocean views, is set to be the site for one of the 5-star deluxe resorts, which promises to offer guests a unique blend of luxury and natural beauty, making it a prime destination for golf enthusiasts and travellers seeking a tranquil retreat.
On the other hand, Golf del Sur, renowned for its well-maintained golf courses and a vibrant, coastal atmosphere, will host the other 5-star resort and the 4-star hotel. These accommodations will further enrich the vibrant tourism landscape of the region, providing visitors with a diverse range of options to enjoy their stay.
Mayor Arturo González expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "We continue to be an attractive municipality for investment, which also translates into the creation of new job opportunities. The construction and subsequent operation of these three resorts will lead to a significant increase in hotel capacity in the area, bolstering the tourism sector.
