The Antigua Town Hall have confirmed that Caleta de Fuste is to have a summer market from June to September in the El Castillo Plaza, featuring stalls and a comprehensive program of family-friendly activities during the evening from 5:00pm til 9:30pm every Friday.
According to the Mayor, Matías Peña, they are aiming to attract a wider audience, particularly families and tourists looking for a fun evening out in Fuerteventura.
The Summer Market will not only offer a variety of stalls but also include children's activities, musical performances, and street shows, encouraging visitors to explore the local streets, plazas, and commercial areas. This initiative is designed to enhance the appeal of Caleta de Fuste.
The market will feature a diverse array of stalls offering a range of handcrafted and eye-catching products, perfect for gifts, decorations, or souvenirs. Additionally, visitors can find typical Canary Island products.
To further enhance the experience, the market will include children's workshops, play areas, and bouncy castles. Situated in the heart of Caleta de Fuste, the market is conveniently located near major shopping areas, eateries, and restaurants, providing a complete experience for all attendees.
