An accident between a car and a tram on Wednesday evening in Santa Cruz caused major traffic jams and left one person seriously injured and trapped in his car in the capital of Tenerife.
The Emergency Services Coordination Centre (CECOES) sent the police, ambulances, and the fire brigade to the location at Cruz del Señor, the intersection between Avenida Islas Canarias and Avenida Venezuela.
When they got there, firemen had to cut the driver out of the car before he could be taken to hospital for further treatment, and fortunately, no one on the tram was hurt in the accident.
