A teenager is hit by a car on the TF-1 motorway in the south of Tenerife
A 17-year-old boy has been injured after being hit by a car on the TF-1 motorway in the South of Tenerife, whilst crossing the slip road on foot at the San Isidro junction, according to information provided by the Emergency Services Coordination Centre (CECOES).
The incident occurred at 2:31 am yesterday (Monday) which is when the 1-1-2 call centre received an alert informing them of the accident and asking for urgent medical assistance.
CECOES immediately dispatched the necessary emergency resources to the location given, where medical personnel attended to the victim, who had a broken leg after being hit by the car.
After stabilising him, he was evacuated to the Hospital del Sur for further treatment.
