The weather forecast from AEMET is showing that the western islands of the Canarian archipelago, i.e. La Palma, La Gomera, and El Hierro, are to have a cloudy start to the day with rainfall expected in various parts of the islands, and possible storms in the south, especially during the first half of the day which will subside to leave a cloudy afternoon.
In the central islands, Tenerife and Gran Canaria, cloudy intervals are forecast throughout the day, from west to east with weak to moderate rainfall expected, however, in the eastern islands, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, no rain is forecast, only high clouds.

TENERIFE:
Cloudy intervals throughout the day, from west to east, with weak to moderate rainfall, more likely in the south during the morning, and the possibility of coastal storms, which will spread from noon across the northern half of the island and to peaks. Variable light wind from the southwest, and breezes on coasts, with some strong gusts especially in the first half of the day, particularly at altitude.
Temperatures: Maximum 21°C and minimum 17°C.
GRAN CANARIA:
Similar to Tenerife with cloudy intervals throughout the day, from west to east, with weak to moderate rainfall, more likely on the southwest slope during the morning and in the north in the afternoon. Variable light wind from the southwest, and breezes on coasts.
Temperatures: Maximum 21°C and minimum 17°C.
LANZAROTE:
Cloudy intervals, with mainly high clouds. Temperatures are the same as over the weekend, and light wind from a southeasterly direction with breezes on the coasts.

FUERTEVENTURA:
The same as Lanzarote with cloudy intervals, and mainly high clouds. Temperatures are the same as over the weekend, and light wind from a southeasterly direction with breezes on the coasts.

LA PALMA:
Rain is forecast across La Palma today accompanied by a storm, especially in the first half of the day on the southeast slope. Variable light winds predominantly from the southwest, with coastal breezes, especially on the west coast. If the volcano's emission continues, the ash cloud would tend to move to the north and east of the island towards the airport.
Temperatures: Maximum 22°C and minimum 15°C.
LA GOMERA:
La Gomera is also going to be cloudy today with some rain, getting cloudier this afternoon. Winds will be from the southwest, more intense in inland areas, and coastal breezes, mainly on the north coast.
Temperatures: Maximum 22°C and minimum 19°C.
EL HIERRO:
Rain is forecast across the island today, with storms expected in the south this morning, with winds from the southwest.
Temperatures: Maximum 19°C and minimum 13°C.
