Vaccines are taking affect, no new cases in nursing homes this week

The effect of mass vaccination against coronavirus in nursing homes is taking affect, as new infections have dropped by over 97% in a month to an absolute minimum among the populations most vulnerable people.

In the last week of February there were 111 new cases in this group in the whole of Spain, with 74 deaths, but none of them were here in the Canary Islands, according to the Imserso report that is updated every Friday with the information provided by the all of the autonomous communities.
