As new travel restrictions are being proposed and implemented in the UK, and Spain announces it is lifting the ban on UK nationals entering the country, which includes the Canary Islands, a loophole in the UK regulations will allow people to travel abroad if they are 2nd home owners.
The latest restrictions, which will apply from next Monday, March 29th, will include a list of specific “reasonable excuses to travel” outside the country, including if they are property owners. According to new coronavirus regulations, people will be allowed to leave the UK to: “prepare a second home for sale or rent”.
