The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has activated an orange weather warning for winds and a yellow alert for rain for tomorrow, Monday, for the islands of Tenerife and La Palma. Gusts of wind up to 90 kilometres per hour are expected on both islands.
In La Gomera, El Hierro and Gran Canaria, the yellow warning has also been activated, also due to strong winds and rain.

The weather forecast for today, Sunday, by islands:
TENERIFE:
A cloudy with patches of sunshine, and the chance of light rains this afternoon at altitude. Winds from the east up to 16 km/h. A maximum temperature of 21 degrees and a minimum of 18 degrees is forecast for the south of the island.
GRAN CANARIA:
Another chilly day in Gran Canaria, mostly cloudy with the possibility of light rains in the north of the island. Light breezes only reaching a maximum of 11 km/h from the east. A maximum temperature of 15 degrees and a minimum of 10 degrees is forecast for the south of the island.
LANZAROTE:
A cloudy day across the island with sunny intervals, and winds up to 20 km/h from the northeast. No rain expected. A maximum temperature of 18 degrees and a minimum of 14 degrees is forecast in Arrecife.
FUERTEVENTURA:
A very similar day to Lanzarote with scattered clouds across the island and sunny intervals, and winds up to 16 km/h from the northeast. No rain expected. A maximum temperature of 19 degrees and a minimum of 14 degrees is forecast in Puerto del Rosario.
LA PALMA:
A cloudy, chilly and rainy day across the island. Winds are from the south with gusts up to 18 km/h. A maximum temperature of only 10 degrees and a minimum of 7 degrees is forecast in Santa Cruz de La Palma.
LA GOMERA:
A cloudy day with light rains across the island, with some patches of sun. Winds are from the south east reaching 24 km/h, with a maximum temperature of 13 degrees and a minimum of 11 degrees is forecast in San Sebastián de La Gomera.
EL HIERRO:
A cool and cloudy day with light rains across the island, with some patches of sun. Winds are from the south reaching 23 km/h, with a maximum temperature of 12 degrees and a minimum of 11 degrees is forecast in Valverde.
