According to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), the weather is going to change this weekend as we finally wave goodbye to the summer and the weather begins to adjust to the new seasonal period.
The latest forecast shows cloudy intervals with weak and occasional rains for practically the entire weekend in Tenerife and Gran Canaria, especially on the north side of the islands, but some showers are expected in the south.
Lanzarote and Fuerteventura are expected to stay dry; however, temperatures will drop to 25°C in Tenerife, and lower in other islands. Here is a full round up of the forecast for the weekend:
TENERIFE:
General: A cloudy Friday in the north, sunny in the south. Patchy cloud with sunny spells over the weekend.
Humidity: 61%
Wind: Strong up to 35kmh from the northeast
Rain: Rain expected in the north of the island all weekend, with showers in the south later in the day.

GRAN CANARIA:
General: A cloudy weekend with showers throughout the island.
Humidity: 66%
Wind: Strong up to 32kmh from the northeast
Rain: Light rain expected all weekend especially on Saturday.
Temps: Max 20°C, min 15°C
LANZAROTE:
General: Light cloud with sunny spells throughout the island.
Humidity: 64%
Wind: Moderate up to 26kmh from the northeast
Rain: No rain expected.
Temps: Max 23°C, min 18°C
FUERTEVENTURA:
General: Light cloud with sunny spells on Saturday and cloudy on Sunday.
Humidity: 70%
Wind: Moderate up to 24kmh from the northeast
Rain: No rain expected.
Temps: Max 24°C, min 19°C
