The weather forecast for today, Monday, shows it will be clear and sunny in the south of the islands with just light cloud at altitude, which will clear later in the day, but heavier clouds in the north and east of the islands. Winds are coming from the northeast and temperatures are much the same as the last few days.
According to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), northeast winds of force 3 or 4 are expected at sea, except in La Palma and El Hierro, which will be variable of force 2 or 3, increasing at night to 4 on the southeast and northwest coasts and 5 on Gran Canaria.

TENERIFE:
Cloudy intervals in the northeast, clear blue skies in the south and west. Light winds from the northeast in the morning, which will get stronger during the afternoon on the northwest point and southeast coast.
In Santa Cruz: minimum temperature of 16ºC and a maximum of 22ºC.
GRAN CANARIA:
Cloudy intervals in the north and northeast below about 800 metres, clearing during the central hours, but getting cloudy again later in the day. Light northeast wind getting stronger in the afternoon, and more intense on southeast and northwest slopes. Mainly breezes on the southwest and northeast coasts.
In Las Palmas: minimum temperature of 16ºC and a maximum of 22ºC.
LANZAROTE:
Light cloud in the morning, getting more intense during the afternoon, with slightly lower maximum temperatures. Light winds from the northeast getting more intense in the afternoon.
In Arrecife: minimum temperature of 15ºC and a maximum of 22ºC.
FUERTEVENTURA:
Little cloudy or clear, with some cloudy intervals in the north and east of the island. Light winds from the northeast getting more intense later in the day.
In Puerto del Rosario: minimum temperature of 15ºC and a maximum of 22ºC.
LA GOMERA:
A predominance of slightly cloudy or clear skies, except for some cloudy intervals in the north below about 800 meters, at the beginning and end of the day. Light to moderate wind from the north, getting stronger in the afternoon on northeast and northwest coasts, breezy on south coast.
In San Sebastián: minimum temperature of 16ºC and a maximum of 22ºC.
LA PALMA:
In the north and east, below about 900 metres, cloudy intervals with some clearings in central hours; in the rest of the island, slightly cloudy or clear. Light winds from the northeast, getting stronger in the afternoon on the northwest and southeast coasts. Mainly breezes on the west and northeast coasts.
In Santa Cruz de La Palma: minimum temperature of 16ºC and a maximum of 21ºC.
EL HIERRO:
Slightly cloudy or clear skies, except for some cloudy intervals in the northeast, below about 800 metres. Northeast winds getting more intense on southeast and northwest coasts.
In Valverde: minimum temperature of 12ºC and a maximum of 16ºC.
