A cloudy Wednesday heading for a wet weekend in the Canaries
The weather forecast for today, Wednesday, shows it will be generally cloudy and windy in the islands in the west of the archipelago, Tenerife, La Gomera, La Palma, El Hierro, and clearer and sunnier in the eastern ones of Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, and Fuerteventura, but as always the south of the islands will be sunnier than the north.
According to the forecast from the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET), winds are from a northerly direction up to 30km/h in places, and will be stronger at the peaks of the more mountainous islands.
AEMET forecasts show that tomorrow will be clear and sunny, then rain is expected on Friday and Saturday in all of the islands, heading towards the weekend.
