The Ministry of Health has released its latest data for today which reports 191 new cases, dipping below 200 again, with 95 in Gran Canaria, 50 in Lanzarote and 35 in Tenerife.
They have also reported of 3 deaths of which 1 is in Gran Canaria and 2 are in Fuerteventura who have only had 7 Covid related deaths since the pandemic began. The fatalities are an 86-year-old woman in Gran Canaria and two 58 and 88-year-old men in Fuerteventura, all with previous pathologies.
The Accumulated Incidence rate (AI7) at 7 days in the Canary Islands is now at 68.26 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and the AI at 14 days is at 163.79 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
