The Canary Islands have registered 229 new cases in the last 24 hours that raises the total number to 28,104 since the pandemic began according to data from the Ministry of Health, with 6,916 active cases on the islands, of which 53 are admitted to ICU and 303 to hospital wards with 6,560 in home isolation. In addition, there have been ten more deaths, all in Tenerife, bringing the death toll on the islands to 434.
