OUTBREAK IN EL HIERRO NURSING HOME:
The ministry of Health has reported that an outbreak of Covid-19 has been detected in the Echedo socio-sanitary centre, in El Hierro, affecting 14 people, 11 residents and 3 workers, after being screened at the centre with PCR tests. One of the affected residents has required hospital admission. The corresponding protocol has been activated and the spaces were divided and disinfected. These data will be incorporated into the statistical information of new cases tomorrow.

The Ministry of Health reminds that these data are provisional, since the Alerts and Emergencies Coordination Centre does not receive epidemiological information from the Autonomous Communities on weekends and holidays, so there will be a complete update on Monday.
