The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) are forecasting an "increase in cloudiness and rainfall in the Canary Islands" from Tuesday when an Atlantic storm is predicted to sweep the archipelago across the western islands of Tenerife, La Palma, La Gomera, and El Hierro first.
According to the meteorological prediction models, it is expected to be more prevalent in the western islands and stay for a few days, "where they could be accompanied by storms and be heavy rain on the south slopes of the islands," whereas the eastern islands of Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura will be less affected.

TENERIFE:
Scattered cloud with a light northeast wind, more intense on the southeast slope, northwest point and Anaga coast, and a chance of occasional light rains.
A maximum temperature of 21 degrees and a minimum of 17 degrees is forecast in the south of the island.
GRAN CANARIA:
A chilly day in Gran Canaria, cloudy with occasional light rains In the north and east. In the rest, cloudy intervals getting more cloudy in the afternoon. Light northeast wind, more intense on southeast and northwest slopes. Breezes on northeast and southwest coasts.
A maximum temperature of 18 degrees and a minimum of 12 degrees is forecast in the south of the island.
LANZAROTE:
A cloudy day across the island, with light winds from the northeast. No rain expected. A maximum temperature of 20 degrees and a minimum of 15 degrees is forecast in Arrecife.
FUERTEVENTURA:
Mostly cloudy skies with light winds from the northeast. No rain expected. A maximum temperature of 20 degrees and a minimum of 16 degrees is forecast in Puerto del Rosario.
LA PALMA:
A cloudy day with a chance of occasional light rains, mainly in the north and east of the island. Light east wind, more intense on the north coast and southern tip. Breezes on east and west coasts.
A maximum temperature of 20 degrees and a minimum of 15 degrees is forecast in Santa Cruz de La Palma.
LA GOMERA:
Cloudy day with a chance of occasional light rains. Light east wind, with mostly breezes.
A maximum temperature of 21 degrees and a minimum of 17 degrees is forecast in San Sebastián de La Gomera.
EL HIERRO:
A cool and cloudy day with the chance of showers across theisland, and a light wind from the east.
A maximum temperature of 15 degrees and a minimum of 12 degrees is forecast in Valverde.
