The weather in the Canary Islands still can’t make its mind up as the haze will be back again today, with clouds, rain, and electrical storms accompanied by winds with gusts of 70kmh and up to 100kmh expected in different areas of the archipelago, according to the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET).
Maximum temperatures are quite different in each of the islands as Tenerife is feeling the heat with the return of a calima, and it will be cooler in the eastern islands where rains and wind are forecast today.
Strong or very strong gusts of wind are also expected in the waters of the islands, which will be variable and strong between force 2 and force 5, depending on the areas, causing potentially big waves and dangerous swell, particularly on north coasts.
