After being missing for ten days, Inga Nuke has been found alive in Gran Canaria. A press release has confirmed that she was found on Tuesday (8th August) by some residents of the municipality of Arucas, after Inga approached them to ask for water and they recognised her thanks to the press coverage of her disappearance.
The 51-year-old had last been seen on July 29th at her home in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, where she lived with her partner. She said that she left after a heated argument and has been living rough in the countryside since her disappearance.
After being found and convinced by the couple to get help, she was taken for a medical checkup, before she filed a complaint (denuncia) against her partner for domestic violence. He has since been located and arrested and will remain in custody while the investigation verifies the claims.
