A stormy night on Mount Teide has given photographers the opportunity to capture some spectacular images such as the one illustrated above, in which dozens of rays can be seen enveloping the landscape of the volcano.
This impressive image was captured by Daniel López, an employee of Aemet at the Izaña weather station, and a participant in the TeideLab where 365 spectacular images taken from the National Park are collected every year.
To produce this particular image, López has taken numerous photographs and has added them all into one image, achieving a spectacular result that highlights dozens of lightning strikes during a stormy night in the Teide National Park.
