After a couple of cloudy, windy, and rainy days, the Canary Islands will have a respite in the weather today with some clouds, lighter winds, and more sun, particularly in the south of Tenerife and Gran Canaria which were the most affected.
Any rain today is only expected to be in the form of isolated showers at altitude in the more mountainous islands, with none forecast in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura.
Temperatures will stay the same as the last few days, but winds will drop with only breezes on coasts leaving better sea conditions, particularly at sheltered beaches in the main tourist areas, according to the State Meteorological Agency.
