On Thursday, the heart of Costa Teguise in Lanzarote came alive with festive cheer as the much-anticipated Christmas Market was officially opened near the amphitheatre by Playa de Las Cucharas.
This year’s market promises to shine brighter than ever, becoming a centrepiece of joy and celebration for all who visit.
Local government representatives, led by Olivia Duque, marked the occasion with a special inaugural ceremony, presenting the market as a space where residents and tourists alike can immerse themselves in the magic of Christmas.
The event is a celebration of community spirit, offering visitors the chance to savour festive treats and explore an array of local crafts.
The market is part of Teguise's grand farewell to 2024, with the town hosting two Christmas markets this year. The first took place in La Villa during the initial week of December, while this second event in Costa Teguise runs until tomorrow, Sunday 15th December.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, live music performances crowned the opening night, spreading warmth and holiday cheer throughout the crowd.
