Cloudy intervals and light rain will feature across the Canary Islands today, Friday, according to the latest forecasts from AEMET. Maritime conditions will also be unsettled, with swell reaching 2–3 metres prompting the regional government to declare a pre-alert for three islands.
At sea, winds will blow from the northeast at force 2 to 4, increasing to north or northeast 4 or 5, and locally reaching 6 later in the day. Slight to moderate seas are expected, with a north-westerly swell of 2–3 metres.
