Man seriously injured after buggy overturns in Lanzarote
A 29-year-old man has been seriously injured after the buggy he was driving overturned in a remote area near Soo, in Teguise, Lanzarote.
The incident occurred around 7:00 pm on Wednesday evening in the Las Laderas area.
The emergency services reported that the driver was initially trapped inside the vehicle.
When emergency teams arrived at the location given, the man had already been freed from the buggy but had sustained multiple serious injuries.
Due to the challenging terrain, firefighters assisted paramedics in stabilising the victim before transporting him to a place where an ambulance was able to reach him.
He was then transferred to the Dr. José Molina Orosa Hospital in Arrecife for further treatment.
