A 39-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly throwing tennis balls filled with drugs into Tenerife II prison. The suspect is a resident of La Laguna and has been accused of drug trafficking.

The incident was detected during routine external surveillance at the prison, carried out in coordination with security staff. Officers were alerted to a man acting suspiciously outside the facility and then checked CCTV footage.
