Five people sustained minor injuries in a multiple-vehicle collision that occurred around midday on Friday near Lanzarote Airport.
The incident took place on the LZ-2 road, where four vehicles were involved in the crash.
Emergency volunteers from Emerlan arrived on the scene shortly after 12:00 pm, and an additional ambulance was also dispatched to assist.
A total of seven people were affected by the collision, and five adult passengers required medical attention for minor injuries. All five were transported to the José Molina Orosa Hospital for further evaluation and treatment.

Road accidents involving tourists have become an increasing concern across the Canary Islands, particularly during peak holiday seasons. Many visitors are unfamiliar with the islands’ narrow, winding roads, which can lead to risky driving, sudden stops, or difficulty navigating sharp bends.
