Electric scooter rider injured after colliding with a car in Lanzarote
A 24-year-old man suffered a head injury yesterday (Thursday) after a collision with a car while riding his electric scooter in the San Francisco Javier area of Arrecife in Lanzarote.
According to reports from the Emergency and Services Coordination Centre (CECOES), the incident occurred around midday, which is when the 112 call centre received an alert for the accident, requesting medical assistance for the man.
The necessary emergency resources were immediately dispatched to the location given, and SUC paramedics provided initial medical assistance before immediately transferring the man to Hospital Molina Orosa for urgent treatment for his head injury.
The Local police also attended the scene and have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
