Confirmation of road closures this weekend for the Los Dolores festivities
The Lanzarote Cabildo have confirmed which roads will be closed this weekend for the Los Dolores festivities, warning of diversions and potential traffic problems in these areas during this time.
Closures will take place tomorrow, Saturday 9th September and Sunday 10th September, at different times and will be in one or both lanes of the road depending on the location.
The roads that will be affected are:
LZ 20 (Arrecife - Tinajo)
From Km 7+600 to Km 8+590: The lane towards Arrecife will be closed to traffic from the Mozaga roundabout to the Monumento al Campesino roundabout, diverting traffic through Mozaga, from midnight to 10:00pm on Saturday.
LZ 30 (Teguise - Uga)
From Km 6+500 to Km 7+900: The road will be closed to traffic in both directions, from the Monument Rotunda to Calderetas Street, from 08:00am to 10:00pm on Saturday.
From Km 7+900 to Km 8+575: The road will be closed to traffic in both directions, from C/ Calderetas, to the La Florida intersection, diverting traffic through Montaña Blanca, from 12:00pm to 1:30pm on Saturday.
LZ 46 (Tiagua - Mancha Blanca)
From Km 0+000 to Km 4+550: The road will be closed to traffic in both directions, from 10:00am on Sunday until 6:00am on Monday morning.
LZ 56 (Mancha Blanca - La Geria)
From Km 0+000 To Km 5+775: The road will be closed to traffic in both directions, from 8:00am on Saturday until 6:00am on Sunday.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT WILL BE ALLOWED TO OPERATE ON THIS ROAD.
LZ- 58 (Masdache - La Vegueta)
From Km 4+600 to Km 5+890: The road will be closed to traffic in both directions, from 8:00am on Saturday until 6:00am on Sunday. (El Peñón area only)
LZ 67 (La Santa - Yaiza)
From Km 4+600 to Km 5+890: The road will be closed to traffic in both directions from Peña de San Roque Street to Chimanfaya Street, from 3:00pm to 11:00pm on Saturday.
LZ-409 (Mozaga - La Vegueta)
From Km 0+000 to Km 3+520: The road will be closed to traffic in both directions, from 8:00am on Saturday until 6:00am on Sunday.
