Vaccination in the islands against the coronavirus is going from strength to strength and at full speed, and proof of this is the new record achieved by the health workers of the Canary Islands Health Service (SCS) who administered 29,497 doses of the Covid vaccines yesterday (Tuesday).
It is the first time, and a new administration record in a single day that is close to the 30,000 jabs promised by the Government of the Canary Islands as a goal to reach 70% of the target population vaccinated before the end of the summer.
In total, they have now administered 1,440,761 doses with 543,383 people fully immunised, which is 29.04% of the target population.
As the program continues we take one more step towards herd immunity and one more step towards the end of this pandemic every day.
