Covid update: 95 new cases and no deaths the day before the levels review

The Canary Islands have registered 95 new cases of Covid in the last 24 hours, so the accumulated total of people that have had the virus is now 95,006, while deaths still stand at 984 with none added today, according to the latest data from the Ministry of Health.

Of the total number of cases, 1,615 are still active, of which 34 are admitted to the ICU, 179 are in hospital wards, and 1,402 are home isolation. As for the Incidence rates, over 7 days in the Canary Islands it stands at 26.56 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, and over 14 days it is now 55.70 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

By islands, there are 32 new cases in Tenerife, 26 in Gran Canaria, 18 in Fuerteventura, 16 in Lanzarote, 2 in El Hierro, 1 in La Palma, and none in La Gomera.
