Covid update: No level changes for any of the islands this week

The Canary Islands have registered 78 new cases of Covid in the last 24 hours, taking the accumulated total in the archipelago to 94,501, while the number of deaths stands at 979 because three more have been reported, two in Tenerife and one in Gran Canaria, according to data from the Ministry of Health for the Canary Islands.

Of the total number of cases, 2,431 are still active which is a drop of 461 from yesterday, of which 43 are admitted to ICU, 210 remain hospitalized, and 2,178 are in home isolation.

As for the incidence rate over 7 days in the Canary Islands, it now stands at 27.71 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and the IA14 is at 61.17 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

By islands, Tenerife adds 27 new cases with 1,087 still active, Gran Canaria has 23 new cases with 1,102 active, Fuerteventura adds 11, Lanzarote adds 10 positives, there are 3 in La Palma, 3 in El Hierro, and none in la Gomera.

The Ministry of Health has also confirmed that all islands are staying in the same levels for the next week, when a new review will be made, so the levels remain as follows:
LEVEL 1: Lanzarote, La Palma, La Gomera, El Hierro.
LEVEL 2: Tenerife, Gran Canaria.
LEVEL 3: Fuerteventura.
