The Ministry of Health has confirmed that 155 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in the Canary Islands today, taking the total number of accumulated cases to 57,546 with 1,635 active, of which 24 are admitted in the ICU and 182 Covid patients remain hospitalized, and 1,429 are in home isolation. They have also reported of two Covid related deaths in Tenerife, both women aged 55 and 58 years old, associated with a family and work outbreaks.
Tenerife has added 92 cases again today and now has 1,033 active cases, Gran Canaria adds 40 with 374 active, Lanzarote adds 11 new cases with 112 active, Fuerteventura has 5 more and 107 active, and La Palma, La Gomera and La El Hierro have no new cases on the islands.
