The Ministry of Health has notified of 202 new positive cases of Covid-19 in the archipelago this Saturday and one new deceased in Tenerife, a 66-year-old woman, who was hospitalized and suffered from previous pathologies. With the new cases in the last 48 hours, the IA7 in all islands has increased.
By islands, Gran Canaria adds the most new cases again with 86, followed by Tenerife with 83, but then Lanzarote has seen an increase with 18, and Fuerteventura with 10. La Palma has also added four new cases, La Gomera just 1 and El Hierro did not add any new cases.
To date, a total of 990,699 PCR tests have been carried out on the islands, of which 3,825 correspond to the last 24 hours, and the SCS set a new record of 16,054 inoculations in one day.
The cumulative incidence at seven days for the islands has risen again to 67.51 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, while at 14 days it is 127.30 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. Gran Canaria now has an IA7 of 80.42 and Tenerife is at 71.61, as both have risen significantly this week.
