The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has activated a yellow weather warning in Tenerife and Gran Canaria due to strong winds and adverse sea conditions expected throughout this week, particularly on Wednesday.
Winds will blow from the northeast with strong intervals on the southeast and northwest slopes of the two islands, hence strong waves and dangerous swell will affect all areas except the north coasts
The biggest risk is expected on Wednesday between 6:00am and 4:00pm, when the wind will be at its strongest
