After a downpour last night (Sunday) across the Canary Islands, Monday is forecast by AEMET to be cloudy and overcast with light and occasional rains, but there will, of course, be some sunny spells in sheltered southern areas.
Temperatures will drop slightly again today with highs of just 20°C and a chilly 14°C tonight and this evening, El Hierro will be the coldest at 11°C. Rain is expected in all areas of the islands with winds up to 35km/h from the northeast, and some strong gusts at altitude.
