The heat will remain in the Canary Islands throughout the week

One of the most asked questions these days is how long the heat will last in the Canary Islands, as the temperatures are unusual for this time of year, especially with highs of up to 30 degrees in inland areas and as the clocks have gone back and winter starts tomorrow.

According to forecasts from the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET), the current highs will continue for practically the entire week across the archipelago, with only slightly cloudy skies and some haze mainly inland and at altitude. Sunset this evening will be at 6:23pm.
