The Canary Islands are set for another warm and mostly sunny day this Thursday, although some northern areas could see light showers during the morning, according to the latest forecasts from State Meteorological Agency (AEMET).

Temperatures are expected to remain largely unchanged, with light to moderate northerly winds continuing throughout the day.

At sea, north-easterly winds of Force 3 to 4 are expected, easing in some coastal areas of the higher islands. Slight to moderate seas are forecast, while waters around La Palma and El Hierro could experience a north-westerly swell of up to one metre.

Island-by-island forecast for Thursday 25^th June 2026:

Tenerife
The day will begin with some cloud in northern and southern parts of the island before skies become mostly clear. A few light showers are possible, particularly in the north-east during the early hours, although rainfall is expected to be brief.

Temperatures will remain unchanged, with light to moderate northerly winds throughout the day.
Temperatures: Low of 21°C and high of 28°C.

Gran Canaria
Sunny conditions will dominate, although cloud is expected over the north during the early morning and late evening. There is a slight possibility of light rain before dawn in northern districts.

Temperatures will remain steady, while light to moderate northerly winds may become stronger at times on the western and south-eastern slopes.
Temperatures: Low of 21°C and high of 26°C.

Lanzarote
The island will enjoy mostly sunny skies, with some cloud affecting northern areas during the first half of the day. Maximum temperatures will remain unchanged, while overnight lows may fall slightly.
Temperatures: Low of 19°C and high of 27°C.

Fuerteventura
Mainly clear skies are expected, although northern and western areas may see some cloud during the morning and evening. Temperatures will remain stable, with minimum temperatures dipping slightly in some areas.
Temperatures: Low of 20°C and high of 26°C.
