Spectacular hat-shaped cloud signals the arrival of Storm Karlotta

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has issued a warning about the arrival of the Atlantic storm Karlotta, which is expected to bring strong winds, maritime storms, and rain until at least Saturday.

Last night residents in the southwest of Tenerife were treated to a breathtaking sunset where a hat-shaped cloud served as a warning of the impending arrival of the storm in the Canary Islands.

From the late afternoon hours of yesterday, Thursday, the sky gradually became covered with a layer of low clouds, which, combined with the setting sun, created an amazing image with Mount Teide in the background.

So, hold tight for a change in the weather over the next few days as the calima goes and the tail end of the Atlantic storm arrives.
