According to the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET), the day will bring significant changes both on land and at sea. Maritime conditions will include shifting winds and increasing wave sizes, with swells reaching around 2 metres.
Lanzarote
The day will start with mostly clear skies, transitioning to cloudy intervals as the day progresses. Light to moderate rain showers are expected in the afternoon, with a possibility of heavier downpours and isolated thunderstorms during the evening and night.
Temperatures will remain stable, ranging from 17°C to 24°C, and winds will be light to moderate from the southwest.
Fuerteventura
Fuerteventura will follow a similar pattern, beginning with clear skies that will become cloudy by midday. Light to moderate showers are likely later this afternoon, with a chance of stronger rains and isolated storms in the evening.
Temperatures will see little change, though minimums may dip slightly, with a forecast of 16°C to 24°C. Winds will start light and increase to moderate from the southwest.
Gran Canaria
Gran Canaria will experience partly cloudy skies during the morning, with increasing cloud cover by the afternoon, especially in the west and south. Occasional light to moderate rain showers are forecast, potentially intensifying into heavier downpours with isolated thunderstorms after nightfall, particularly in the southwest.
Temperatures will rise slightly in the northern and eastern partd of the island, with a range of 19°C to 24°C. Winds will shift from light to moderate in the morning, with stronger gusts expected in the northwest and high-altitude areas later on.
Tenerife
Tenerife will also see a shift from partly cloudy skies in the morning to thicker clouds in the west during the afternoon. Light to moderate rain showers are anticipated, with a likelihood of stronger rains and isolated thunderstorms later in the day, particularly in mid-altitude areas in the west and south.
Temperatures will remain stable, with slight increases in the northern and eastern regions, ranging from 18°C to 25°C. Winds will strengthen throughout the day, with occasional strong gusts at higher altitudes.
