Renowned British band Keane and British-Lebanese singer Mika will perform at two concerts in the Canary Islands, one in Santa Cruz de Tenerife on December 6th and another in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on December 7th, 2024.
These performances are part of the Culture & Business Pride event, which culminates with concerts dedicated to Human and LGBTQ+ Rights, featuring both as headliners.
According to a statement from the event organisers, these concerts will be "exclusive to Spain," with more artists expected to be announced for the festival shortly.
The venues will be the Palmetum in Santa Cruz on the 6th, and the Plaza de la Música in Las Palmas on the 7th.
The Culture & Business Pride festival is an international event focused on promoting visibility and advocating for the rights of the LGBTQ+ community. For the first time in its history, the festival will be held simultaneously on two islands, from December 3rd to 7rd, 2024.
"The Human Rights concert, one of the festival's most anticipated events, will feature two major international music stars. The British band Keane and the multifaceted Lebanese artist Mika will headline this edition's performances," the statement reads.
Keane, who won a Brit Award in 2008, are known for hits like ‘Somewhere Only We Know’ and ‘Everybody's Changing’. Mika, who is known for his charismatic stage presence and diverse career, will perform his biggest hits such as ‘Grace Kelly’ alongside songs from his latest album, ‘Que ta tête fleurisse toujours’ during his appearance in the Canary Islands.
