Cloudy skies, sun, and occasional showers to start the week in the Canaries
Cloudy skies and occasional showers will continue to dominate weather conditions across the Canary Islands today, Monday, according to Spain’s national weather agency, AEMET.
At sea, winds will be light at force 2 or 3, mainly from the north until nightfall, shifting to an easterly or south-easterly direction later. Slight seas or smooth waters are expected, with a northerly or north-westerly swell of 1 to 2 metres.

TENERIFE
Mostly cloudy with the possibility of occasional light rain inland. Temperatures stable or slightly higher. Light, variable winds with coastal breezes, while the central peaks will see moderate north-westerly winds easing by the afternoon.
General temperature range: 17°C minimum, 23°C maximum.
GRAN CANARIA
Cloudy intervals and clearer skies by afternoon. Temperatures steady with a small decrease in minimums. Light, variable winds and coastal breezes.
General temperature range: 17°C minimum, 21°C maximum.
LANZAROTE
Cloudy intervals with long sunny spells developing in the afternoon. Temperatures remain stable, with a slight dip in overnight lows. Light, variable winds with coastal breezes.
General temperature range: 14°C minimum, 22°C maximum.
FUERTEVENTURA
Similar conditions with cloudy intervals and brighter skies later in the day. Temperatures unchanged or slightly lower at night. Light, variable winds and coastal breezes.
