The Canary Islands are expected to experience a break from the calima today, Monday, as forecasts from the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) predict a predominantly sunny day to close out 2024.

The west of the islands may see variable winds with breezes, calmer seas, and swells ranging between 1 and 2 metres.
