Body of missing man discovered in a ravine
The body of a German man who had been missing since 29th January was found dead on Saturday in a ravine in Fuencaliente, on the island of La Palma, not far from the area where he had been living.
According to reports from Bomberos La Palma, the man’s body was recovered by firefighters from the La Grama Fire Station, working in coordination with officers from the Guardia Civil.
Emergency services, including an ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) and the relevant funeral services, were also dispatched to the location where the discovery was made.
The authorities have yet to release further details regarding the circumstances of the man’s disappearance, and investigations remain ongoing as officials seek to clarify the events leading to his death.
